ADHD, dyslexia, autism: acting against bullying and discrimination
People with ADHD, DYS conditions (dyslexia, dyspraxia…) or autism are more often targeted by bullying. Being different is not a flaw: accommodations and allies exist.
Warning signs
- Mockery about speed, handwriting, reading or behaviour
- Exclusion from games, groups or outings
- Exhaustion, anxiety, refusing to go to school
What to do
- Explain your needs to the school team to obtain accommodations.
- Ask a parent or an adult to support you with the process.
- Use SOS OSCAR’s “easy to read” version and voice command.
- Report any bullying: the fault always lies with the person who hurts, never with a diagnosis.
